This book was an amazing read. Doris Kearns Goodwin took a decade to research and write this book. She read through years of documents and letters, incorporating quotes into sentences contructed in a way that reads like a novel. Really got me interested in American history and learned what kind of man Abe Lincoln was, as well as the people that he had in his cabinet. Great read!
