I was explaining to her that I think each person we come in contact with has a unique perspective, and it’s been truly inspiring to interact with so many different people. I explained to her, there is value in EVERY person we meet. After he…aring this, she suggested actually “telling them there is value in their perspective.” Wow! A simple suggestion, but one that can make a world of difference in the lives of the people we engage with.
Do you think we thank those that we appreciate enough? Or acknowledge those that we admire? Or do you think perhaps we just take it for granted and suppose they already know? The power in expressing thanks or admiration to another is priceless. Make someone’s day today!
Hi Pete! I was suprised and delighted to see that you enjoyed the coversation as much as I did. You definetly got me thinking a little this morning. With today’s technology so much is lost in the art of a conversation face to face. Don’t get me wrong I appreciciate the tech. it is just that maybe I am a little old fashioned when I say that I like speaking with people. It was nice to sit and spend a moment with someone with out feeling rushed for time. It was pleasant hearing your vision.
