A young boy, maybe 10 or 11 years old. Standing tall, in his best suit, trying oh so hard to be a man at that particular moment. A Marine, in full ceremonial garb, presenting that boy with the flag that had recently draped the boy’s father’s casket. The boy is…

After being lied to and hurt, you’re naturally more hesitant to continue to extend yourself to others. But it’s important to never let one instance, or even a few, take from you your compassion for others or derail your pursuit to discover others of truth and love. PK

BLOW – despite being a movie that captured the rise of cocaine in America, a ton of valuable perspective throughout. Great clip of George’s tape to his father.

Quote of the Week

As humans, becoming addicted is in our nature; really not much we can say or do about it. BUT, we do have full reign on what we become addicted to. So choose to become addicted to positive thinking and physical exercise - become addicted to enhancing your perspective through exploring and experiencing - fall victim to the addiction of loving those that you care about tirelessly and endlessly. Become addicted to the pursuit of a better you.

Focus of the Week

Try shifting your focus each morning to one of trust and thanks. If we rise each morning, trust and are thankful for what has come our way, we’re allowing for greater abundance to fill our lives. Trust and thanks through joy and happiness is important; but to carry that same level of trust and thanks through challenge and trial will change the scope of our lives and allow us to live as freely as we dream.
