“Here I was, exposed and existing amongst nature on a grand scale. It was lending me a new vitality. There was a fresh and humbling center of gravity out here. Out here, with no ceilings and no floors, there was no place to hide. Even though I was such a tiny thread in this huge vibrant tapestry, I was coming to understand that I still a part of it. Somewhere between the starscape and the landscape, the sky and the dust, God and the ground, a die was being cast for a new woman. Molded by the hands of this massive African continent, a new perspective was taking shape; one with no limits.”
